Classes at Handful Studios

8-week session | $395

All students enroll in either a Wheel or Handbuilding class that meets for a 3-hour class once a week for 8 weeks. Classes are offered all days of the week, with a variety of morning, afternoon and evening sessions.

Tuition includes:

  • 25 lb. bag of clay (additional clay may be purchased in the studio)

  • 2' x 4' personal shelf

  • Unlimited firing

  • Use of glazes, tools, and studio equipment

  • Access to 50+ hours per week of open studio time

  • Instruction from lovely ceramic professionals

Wheel Classes

Levels: Intro & Open

Students will learn how to create functional pottery on the wheel— mastering foundational techniques like centering clay and moving on to exploring more advanced forms and personal projects. Weekly demonstrations provide inspiration and skill-building, while hands-on practice and instructor support help students grow at their own pace. Whether you're just getting started or ready to deepen your practice, there’s a level that meets you where you are at.

Handbuilding Classes

Levels: Intro & Intermediate

Handbuilding with a focus on pinching and coiling building methods. Students will learn the basics of clay and be given demonstrations on how to build various functional vessels. The classes will also go over different types of surface decoration using slips and glazes. Bea’s classes are suitable for all levels, and Devin’s are dedicated to either Intro or Intermediate!
